When you join Eltee Travel as a travel advisor you will become a part of one of the best and most respected travel agencies/teams in the business. Eltee offers personalized support, empowering you to build your business with flexibility and independence. Our strong focus on training and a collaborative team culture ensures you’ll be well-trained to plan exceptional travel experiences.
Your hours are yours and of course you can work from home. Eltee Travel has offices in New York City and Boca Raton, FL and as an advisor, you are also welcome to work from one of our offices. As an Independent Contractor (or IC), you decide where and when you work, and how much time you want to put into your career.
Travel advisors do not require any special equipment. You probably already have everything you need: a computer, a phone line, and an internet connection. Add in personal drive and ambition and you have everything you need to be successful!
There is a refundable one-time $100 administrative deposit. You will receive 100% of your deposit back when you book your first commissioned trip. As your mentor, Eltee invests our time in training you for your new career. The small deposit is simply to prove your seriousness and cover a portion of our time in the very unlikely event that you change your mind.
No you don’t. While it always helps to visit an office to learn in person and to benefit from the insights and knowledge your colleagues can share, there is no requirement to live near one of our offices. Keep in mind that Eltee Travel hosts hotel representatives and tour operators almost daily, so meeting these people is helpful but, not required.
By spending just a few hours a day learning, you’ll be working as a travel advisor in two to four weeks. It is not complicated! The Eltee Travel team is available to help you every step of the way.
The amount of money you can make as a travel advisor/travel agent is entirely up to you! You are your own boss. Being a travel advisor/agent is a commission-based job. The more you work and the more clients you recruit, the more money you will make. And remember—your travel benefits grow as your business grows!
